Saturday September 17th is the 2nd Annual ART for LOVE
Fundraiser.
Are you an artist? If not, do you have friends, family or co-workers who are artists? Paintings, pottery, Quilts, sculpture, glass, jewelry, photographs, drawings, antiques & collectibles are all needed for this event. This year we are also adding goods and services to the auction. If you want to donate goods or services like (not limited to these items) massage therapy, catering, floral gift certificates or hotel packages that would be much appreciated.
Last year, thanks to your generous donations, we raised over $6,000. Your donations are tax-deductible.
This year we are also kicking off our newest annual fundraiser with the art auction:
The PLATE Project
Which stands for:
Peace Love Abundance To EVERYONE.
We as a church provide food as nourishment to those who seek it from us via the food pantry and other ministries and we provide spiritual nourishment to those who seek it as well via many other ministries. We have literature available to hand out to those who would be interested in showing a potential celebrity painter.
Do you know someone who is a celebrity who would be interested in painting a plate for the auction? Local or national celebrities in the fields of sports, politics, and entertainment (not limited to these fields) are needed for this brand new event. We will send them a plate and paint (and return postage paid shipper if out of state) and then auction it off with the proceeds going to the church. We will also have a painting party at Get Fired Up for those in our congregation who want to donate a plate to the auctionÖmore details to come about that.
